Hotel R makes for a very comfortable stay. One thing they do really well is make the room quiet. I was on the 1st floor, and barely heard any street noise. A police car drove by and it sounded like it was blocks away. They have two layers of windows, one that’s double-paned.

I had a lovely time staying at this hotel. I interacted with the staff several times. Each time they were very polite, accommodating, and respectful. I was able to check out late at no additional fee which was very helpful seeing as I had a later flight and a lot of work to do. The rooms were very clean and quiet despite some minor construction going on at the hotel. I had the morning breakfast one day which was very delicious and reasonable. The hotel is walking distance to a lot of great restaurants, attractions, and very safe. I would stay here again.
The rooms are bigger than I expected in Paris and reasonably modern. The bathroom is small and I didn't get a refill for shampoo.
Tiny little hotel front. You might miss it if a van is parked in front of it. The gym is useless if you want to do strength training. They only have a few cardio machines.
Negatives: Holy hell, do not listen to the false statements from the hotel here. Construction is very much ongoing. We were waken up by machinery every weekday at 745 am. Furthermore, when it rains or is windy, a loud, banging sound occurs in the courtyard of the hotel, which you can hear even with the windows closed. So, was waken up several times during the weekend.
Lastly, while the the hotel claims to have
AC, you don’t actually get to choose whether to cool or heat your room! So expect your room to be ~26-28C/78-80 F in late October unless you open your window, which invites in mosquitos (from which we were bitten), as the hotel decides centrally whether a floor will be heated or cooled.
Finally finally, the shower smelled very strongly of mold when we arrived. This was cleaned up eventually, but not a great first experience.
Pros: staff is friendly and rooms were clean.
Room was small but super clean and cozy. The folks at the reception were helpful. We were able to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out. Overall a good stay.
Great hotel. Rooms are small but they are well kept. Bed was super comfy and the aircon was great when I needed it. Nice location close to some metro stations. Love the happy hour they set up for guests every night.
My husband and I stayed 6 nights at the R Hotel and it was a great stay. The rooms are quiet and the beds are very comfortable which results in a great night's sleep. The room remains warm throughout the night, so we didn't get cold at all …
Although small rooms very clean great for metro and bus services free evening snacks with reasonable priced drinks.
